(Full List of Winners) PH bet Janela Cuaton placed 1st Runner up in Miss Tourism Metropolitan International 2016

Our bet Miss Philippines Janela Joy Cuaton almost got the crown of Miss Tourism Metropolitan International 2016 by placing 1st runner up. After the Q&A round I had the feeling already that it’s either her and the winner which is Thailand.

During the Q&A round Janela was asked about how she can promote Cambodia’s Fashion to the world and she answered with confidence “Create a marketing campaign that would raise curiosity about Cambodia’s Fashion but let’s not forget that the real treasure of Cambodia is its people.”

Janela is 19 years old and taking up Business Administration in Far Eastern University. She’s a model in Doha, Qatar and won as Mutya ng Pilipinas Tourism International 2015.

Mutya ng Pilipinas Queens ready to rock the International stage.

One of the most awaited pageant queens here in the Philippines are from Mutya ng Pilipinas. Why? Simply because they produce international winners. Recent title holders are the late Rizzini Alexis Gomez – Miss Tourism International 2012/2013, Angeli Dione Gomez – Miss Tourism International 2013/2014, Glennifer Perido – Miss Tourism Metropolitan International 2014 & Leren Mae Bautista – Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International 2015.

This year Mutya ng Pilipinas queens are ready to rock the international stage.
The first one to compete, actually competing right now in Phnom Penh, Cambodia is Mutya ng Pilipinas 2015 Tourism International Janela Joy Cuaton. She’s representing our country in Miss Tourism Metropolitan International 2016. Pageant night is on November 18, 2016

Next is Mutya ng Pilipinas Asia Pacific International 2016 Ganiel Akrisha Krishnan. This half Indian – Singaporean, half Filipina will be a host delegate because Miss Asia Pacific International 2016 will be held here in the Philippines, to be specific in Puerto Princesa this coming November 23, 2016.

Mutya ng Pilipinas 2016 2nd Runner-Up, Ashley Nicole Singh will be the third to compete in Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International 2016 which will be happening on December 18 in Shanghai, China. Ashley will be aiming a back to back win because the reigning queen is from the Philippines, Leren Mae Bautista. Originally, Eva Patalinjug will be competing but she backed out due to personal reasons.

Finally the last girl to compete is Mutya ng Pilipinas 2016 Tourism International Justine Mae San Jose. She will be competing in Miss Tourism International 2016 to be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia this coming December 31, 2016.
A very promising batch, I won’t be surprised if we’re going to get multiple crowns from these ladies. Good luck girls.
