BREAKING NEWS: Cory Quirino is no longer the Miss World PH Franchise holder!


While everyone is busy for the 65th Miss Universe​ pageant here in the Philippines, Cory Quirino, the national director of the Miss World Philippines shocked everyone with a sad news.

“I have decided to relinquish the license of Miss World Philippines for both personal and business reasons.  Thank you for supporting me all these six years, and for being part of our challenges and victories. I will never forget you”.

She added “it will be assigned to someone else, hopefully a friend or associate whom I already introduced to the Miss World Organization”

Cory Quirino was the National Director of Miss World Philippines for six years. It was a successful six years, giving the country, it’s first Miss World in 2013 by Megan Young, 1st Runner Up in 2011 by Gwendoline Ruais, 3rd Runner Up by Catriona Gray in 2016, Top 10 finish by Hillarie Parungao, Top 15 by Queneerich Rehman in 2012 and Top 25 by Valerie Weigmann in 2014.

He’s no other than Arnold Vegafria. He posted the announcement via his Instagram account.
